Tyrus began his acting journey at the Royal Opera House Youth Company from 2007 to 2012, during which he performed in the productions La Bohemè and Das Rheingold. He continued his training with the Young Actors Theatre from 2012 to 2014 and more recently with the Chelsea Theatre company with 2 Heavy Productions.
Tyrus has extensive acting experience and is best known for his role as Young Jude in the short film No More Wings, which won Best Short Film in the Tribeca BFI Film Festival. Other notable credits include Netflix, The End of The F***ing World in which he plays the Bully Youth role.
Tyrus is skilled in performing a range of accents, including General American, New York, LA, Australian, and Northern British. Aside from acting, Tyrus holds many other creative areas of expertise such as scriptwriting, dancing, and creating music, which he writes and performs himself. Additionally, Tyrus is a talented sportsman with skills in skateboarding, basketball, and cycling.
