Award-winning actress, director, and playwright, Stephanie Leigh Rose is a multi-disciplinary creative starring in The Ashley Madison Affair for Disney Plus, Man From Nebraska for Steppenwolf Theatre, and Heckle for Voodoo Productions. She was awarded the Best Actress Award by the Crimson Film Festival in 2014 for her stellar performance and risk-taking portrayal of Erica Carpenter in the indie slasher film Don't Go to the Reunion (2013). Off the screen and on the stage, Stephanie received the URECA Grant for Excellence in the Field of Theatre for her play The Glass Wall where she also starred as the lead.
An ambitious student of the craft, Stephanie earned her Master's of Fine Arts from the prestigious Chicago Conservatory of Arts while commanding the stage in productions such as The Good Woman of Szechwan. She has a phenomenal ear for accents, excelling in French, Mexican, Italian, RP, and American Southern in addition to speaking proficiency in Japanese, French, Italian, and American Sign Language.
Stephanie continues her artistic journey as a director through her own productions of The Vagina Monologues for the Pavé d'Orsay in France and for London-based Arts organization, Ugly Duck. In her free time, Stephanie practices Swing Dance with the Honey Hoppers and plays the Koto .
